Can i use fairy liquid instead of car shampoo?

I just cant be bothered to get down halfords and buy some moreCan i use fairy liquid instead of car shampoo?
Fairy liquid/washing up liquid has salt in it to cut thru the grease. You could use it as a one off but regular use could effect your paintwork.

They sell car shampoo in poundland, wilkinsons. Cheaper than halfords and works just as goodCan i use fairy liquid instead of car shampoo?
For a one-time car wash, its ok. Do not make a habit of it, though. If you cannot prise yourself away from the interwebs, order some proper car shampoo online and have it delivered.
yes
i use dawn dish soap about 3 bucks and always have it been working fine for me pass 40 yrs
First off, don't buy Shampoo in hal'frauds'... Buy it in Tesco, you'll get the same product but about 拢2 cheaper haha.

Secondly, if you car is a bit dirty and you are too lazy to be 'bothered' to wash it properly, then what's the point of even doing it.

Fairy liquid will just make your life 10x harder... It's really thick and has loads of detergent, designed for getting grease off of dirty plates. It will leave streaky marks all over your car, especially on your windows. Seeing as you can't be arsed to get some car shampoo, I'm assuming you can't be arsed to polish the car either, so it'll look gash haha.

Go get some rapid drying stuff, makes washing the car 10x easier :).
